Doris Chiang received the Doctoral of Musical Arts in University of Southern California, with high academic honors. She had also participated in masterclasses by Eduardo Delgado, Artur Pizarro, and Daniel Pollack. As an active soloist and chamber pianist, she frequently presents programs at Richard Nixon Library and MTAC branch events. She was the pianist for Bachiana Piano Ensemble who performs regularly in the southern California, and is currently the pianist with Trio Raro, which will debut at the Richard Nixon Library in September 2010.
As an active adjudicator, Dr. Chiang is the adjudicator for Southwestern Youth Music Festival, Certificate of Merit program, and local music festival. Her students are the prizewinners of Southwestern Youth Musical Festival, MTAC Branch Scholarship Award, and Bach Festival, and are regularly selected for Honor Recital and convention performers. Dr. Chiang was the Chair of Certificate of Merit at Lakewood Branch and is currently the President of MTAC Orange County branch. She conducts a private piano studio in La Habra, CA.
